St John Rescue Corps provided first aid and lifeguard cover during the village feast of St Julian’s.
The ‘Ġostra’, is a traditional game which stretches back to the Middle Ages, during which participants scrabble their way to the top of a 20m greasy pole to retrieve flags. This challenge is undertaken every Summer during the village feast of St Julian’s.
