On the 25th November, members of the St John Rescue Corps (SJRC) were presented with various Royal Life Saving Society Malta awards and certificates at St Patrick’s School Sliema. Mr George Borg, Director General – Educational Services, presided during the ceremony.
SJRC was presented with the Aggregate Shield for the second consecutive year. This Shield is awarded annually to the organisation with the highest number of awards and certificates. SJRC was also awarded with the Aggregate Shield in 2007.
During the presentation Rescue Volunteer Zvetlana Zerafa was awarded the prestigious certificate – ‘Young Lifesaver of the Year 2015’.
