On Sunday the 28th of February members of St John Rescue Corps together with members of St John Ambulance provided First Aid assistance during the 2016 Vodafone Malta marathon and half marathon. More than 4,300 people across the world participated in 31st edition of this event.
The Corps offers its deep condolences to the family of the runner Mr Mike Freeman whom despite all First Aid efforts died shortly after collapsing just a few metres from the finishing line. Our thoughts are with his family.
