The St John Rescue Corps participated in a simulation exercise of an earthquake between the 3rd and 6th September. The exercise is part of a project entitled SIMIT funded by the Italy-Malta Operations Programme for 2014-2020. The exercises were organised by the Civil Protection Department in partnership with Sicilian rescue forces with the involvement of police, armed forces and various NGOs.
