Members of the St John Rescue Corps (SJRC) participated in the open day of the Civil Protection Department (CPD) and Armed Forces of Malta organised as part of Public Service Week. Several demonstrations were held including rope rescue exercises simulating the evacuation of casualties using rope rescue techniques, high rise building fire-fighting and road traffic accident simulations carried out by CPD Personnel, CPD Volunteers, SJRC and the Emergency Fire and Rescue Unit. The event was held on Saturday 31st January at HalFar Fire Station.
