St John Rescue Corps volunteers carried out a night time exercise during which they searched and recovered 2 injured ‘casualties’, carrying them through very rough terrain and then hauling them to safety from a deep creek located at Misrah il-Ferha, Mtahleb. Various rescue techniques were used in this scenario purposely organised to further develop the rescuers skills and test the Corps capabilities. Among others this involved high angle work and rescue by use of a stretcher. The exercise was carried out on the 5th April 2013.
