Emergency Call Out – Feb 2018

On 10th February, Rescue Corps volunteers have been called in to assist the Civil Protection Department on a number of rescue operations during a bad thunderstorm that hit Malta.  An average of 65mm of rain were pelted over the Maltese islands in 36 hours. TVM Coverage  

Blood Donation – Jan 2018

On the 28th January, members of the St John Rescue Corps have donated blood at the National Blood Transfusion Service – Malta . We encourage the Maltese community to give the gift of life and donate blood.    

Valletta 18 Opening – Jan 2018

Members of the St John Rescue Corps were on duty at Valletta on 20th January – on this day Valletta became the European Capital of Culture 2018.  Thousands of people went to Valletta to follow the Four Squares (Erba’ Pjazez) events.
